Andrew *, from Southport Home Services, repaired a leak in a pipe behind the wall between my garage and family room. (I recently had cabinets and countertop installed, and as it turns out, the installers put a screw in the wall that pierced and went through a water pipe leading to my outside faucet.) Andrew gave me an estimate, and once I approved the estimate, removed the damaged pipe and faucet, and installed a new water pipe and outdoor faucet. Dalton was very prompt, courteous and helpful! We had a broken pipe, with water running under our house. Dalton crawled in the crawl space under the house and found the problem immediately. He gave us an accurate estimate, explained what he would do, completed the work, and showed us the piece of pipe with the hole in it. We would give Dalton the highest rating. He did an outstanding job!!! Five stars!!

He was timely and courteous. I was told when I set up the appointment there was no trip charge and the estimate would e at no charge. He gave me what I considered to be a reasonable quote. He was true to his estimate. It wasn't a major job and he completed the task in a professional manner. Southport is in my contact list for any plumbing problems in the future. Thank you.

Tim was able to come on the same day I called and solved my clog issue. He was friendly, kept me informed and charged me exactly what he said he would. I would highly recommend, and Tim is a great asset for Southport.

I had requested a tune up on my furnace and air conditioner. Instead the 17-year old employee completed a analysis and listed all the items he felt was wrong with the systems. He also proposed a yearly maintenance programs at a cost of $1,432.80, which would also include some of the repairs they felt I needed. The second page of my invoice was signed, but someone other that the 17-year old service person, "acknowledging the work was has been completed in a satisfactory and workmanlike manner". They did not complete the routine maintanence service to my furnace despite my paying for this service. They simply told me what wrong and suggested a new furnace. Their sale person come out that day.Their ploy was to sell and not service my furnace. Definitely will not schedule them again.

The plumber did not disconnect the electricity before he started unhooking the old hot water heater. Blew the transformer for my condo, no heat. When the refrigerator turned on, the internet went off. Had to call an electrician for a new transformer, more cost. Hot water heater was in stalled fine, but he switched the hot/cold water hoses on my washing machine. I now have to find someone to switch the hoses as I do not have the right tools.
