My 89 year old mother-in-law needed her mail slot replaced in her front door. She had the new part, but needed it installed. I suggested she call Handy Man on Call. They required her to sign a contract for $250 before they would come to her residence. The work took 5 minutes. This is what I would call taking advantage of the elderly.

I would not recommend this company. Contractors came out and did a HORRIBLE JOB. I will say CONTRACTOR came out and fixed SOME of the problems. But it was not worth what we paid. 6,600 is what we paid!!!!!!

This company is extremely disorganized and apparently does not pride themselves on customer service. It's impossible to speak with an actual project manager. After much run around we got our deposit back and went with another company. Do not waste your time.

My father who is 85 years old called because his sink had a leak. They sent someone in charged $195 inspection fee to walk in the door. Then tighten and put a washer on pipe and charged 325.00 was there less then 15 minutes. Called to find out why so much money and they kept saying we have to charge an inspection fee and he agreed. He is 85, hard of hearing, and English isn’t great. How can you do business walking in Charging 325.00 to use a washer off of a faucet he had there. Customer service is absolutely horrible!!! The owner/manager, Vita, is as rude as can be. Communication within company is non-existent. Took 3 months to get a one day job completed because of mistake in measurements. After it was finally corrected, I was harassed by company for payment, which was already sent. One of those days I was harassed was first thing Thanksgiving morning. Vita pretty much insinuated that I lied about mailing check (there's a fee for credit card payments). Poor communication. No one showed up for the day of work. No one called me and said anything. Not getting the business will do myself. Good business model.

Could not rate them 0 stars or I would have. Never showed up for appointment which they confirmed earlier that day. Rescheduled for following week but they only scheduled one person for a two person job. He was great, polite and courteous. The office finally worked out their scheduling issue and the job was finished. They are disorganized and not that interested in customer service or satisfaction.
