made 2 calls to them and got messasge machine both times -- left complete message both time --- no callback to me! Shame on them! They do not represent Angies List well!!

I had several conversations with the estimator regarding the work I wanted on my home. I need three repairs: (1) A shingle was coming off the roof where the roof meets the gutter; (2) some other shingles on the top of the house appeared to be sliding off of my sloped roof; and, (3) replace the soffit under a gutter that was rotting. Called them at 8:00 Monday morn when they open. Nice receptionist said the scheduler comes in at 9 and would call me right away as I had water coming in thru the roof, insulation and kitchen ceiling. Heather finally called me back just before noon. She said the next avail appt they had was 2 weeks and a day from now. I said that I had a emergency. She said, "Oh, we don't do emergency roofing". After less than a year with the heavy snows of Fall 2009-2010 my roof had snow and ice dams on it. It leaked inside my townhouse causing damage. Pond Roofing denied any responsibility and tried to blame the leaks on my windows, bathroom plumbing and moisture from my clothes in the dryer. Pond was the most expensive price of 4 quotes and gave a 15 year guarantee. I used them because I mistakenly thought they were good. WELL I WAS WRONG!!!! I am stunned by the member’s complaint: Since her first call on December 21, 2009, right after our first major snow storm, we have been to her home 5 times; we arranged for a professional roof inspection, and I have sent her information to assist her in filing a claim with her homeowner’s insurance carrier. Called the company and scheduled the estimator to come about 10 days later. He came on time and even had detailed information on the house because the company had done work prior to our owning it. He got up on the roof and then had my husband climb up and showed him where the chimney was deteriorating, causing the leak. He promised to call the mason that worked for/with the company regarding an estimate on repair as well as to come back Monday (this was a Thursday) to put down something to cover it in the meantime. This report is outdated. Pond Roofing was subsequently hired by this customer to do repair work in March 2009 and was very pleased with the work. This customer has not updated this report. We are happy to make customer referrals to reputable contractors -- such as the mason referred to in the complaint -- but we have no control in contractor scheduling.
