I couldn't be happier with my overall experience with Peak Remodeling. The day of the install went exactly how it was explained to me when I received the estimate which is rare when it comes to home improvement companies. I took the day off of work because I wanted to make sure I could keep an eye on everything and make sure I was getting what I paid for. The company was hired to replace my roof in excess of $30,000. On the Friday before the week of installation, shingles were delivered and placed on one side of my house. Most of the weight of these shingles were on one peak of my house. That cracked the stone veneer of my house and allowed leaking. When I mentioned to Howard Wilt, he said it was their fault and they would take care of it. He asked if I had a stone guy. I replied that I did. He said get it fixed and send them the bill. I did. I was told that this is a business decision and that they receive fewer callbacks when a quote is made if "both homeowners are not present". I found this company because it was so highly rated here on Angie's list. It seems like they do good work and have many satisfied customers. However, I am completely turned off by their high-pressure sales tactics and would recommend others to avoid. In fact, if you look at Angie's List own page on "Roofing Scam: High-Pressure Sales", it is a very close description of the tactics employed by the Peak remodeling sales process. Bad experience. They call a few times until they reached me and we agreed on an appointment. at the day and time of the appointment they didn't show up, and when I called to check what was going on, they didn't apologize, one of their reps told me that he called me that morning and left a message about canceling the appointment, which is not true. I wasted my time and they lost a customer. Really disappointing experience.

I called them yesterday 4/9/2018 and representative made an appointment for today to send and estimator to give estimate of my windstorm damaged roof. But I got a call one hour before the appointment and gentlemen asked me many questions. The important one was, will I use my money or insurance money?
