Everything that we're told from the beginning did not take place. this company offers a lot be do not give what they offered. they were also overly priced. 1) We were told that we can remove the wall panels if we needed to. 2) That the work would be done in a week, it told three weeks 3) Project manager stated that he will be out to visit the site once in the beginning and half way through. My wife and I found the contractors that installed our new Thermal Shield windows to be very courteous, informative and understanding of our needs. We did have a minor concern. They missed some debris left outside. They did a thorough interior clean up that exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend Thermal Shield to our friends and family. I am very satisfied with the end result of the job. I am also very impressed with the materials the quality far exceeds my expectations. I'm not happy with the length of time it took to complete the project and the lack of supervision from anyone from the company. The installers were on their own. Not once did anyone from the company come out to inspect their work. Although it took a while to get things going (various issues on their end and our end)...once things got settled, we were on a roll! Installers were prompt, professional, & very nice! Cleaned up their mess and were very concerned for the safety of our daughters and our pets! Any issues that we had or questions were resolved quickly and with care!
This three day job took 3 months. First they hit the septic line even though we told them where it was the day before. Instead of calling a plumber they took several days and several tries before it was fixed. This took about two weeks. Finally the posting cleared inspection and the cement could be poured. Now we have a new deck (wich they wern't giving us but the township said they had to) even though they just wanted to repair the old one. Next the three sides are put up. Thermal Shield initially told us the installation process would take 3 days; however, it ended up taking over two weeks. The quality of workers they sent to our home was variable. Those who built the sunroom were excellent and very professional; however those who knocked out our wall and installed the sliding door were amateurs at best who did not seem to care about the quality of their work.
