The communication with this company is terrible. I initially set up an appointment one week in advance, and received two phone calls to change it, no problem. The rep from the company came the following Monday, and said he would provide a quote within 1-2 days, never happened! I called the company one week later on two occasions, and they said the quote would be sent shortly, again never happened. If you're looking for a reliable company that communicates effectively, this isn't one of them!
Estimate was outrageously high. It was approximately double the bid of the next highest bidder. Buyer beware!
All the details are too numerous to write. I have never, ever had such a poor experience with anyone doing work to my home. The job was handled very unprofessionally and I sought compensation through a financial discount with the company on a final portion of the bill. They refused, numerous times. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Worst experience of my life having work done by someone. I joined Angie's List for the sole purpose of helping me feel I am making an informed decision. This kind of advice I do not ne... read more
DiGiorgi came and replaced the vinyl siding panels on or around February 4, 2014. Around February 10, I received the bill in the mail and on February 11, DiGiorgi's accounts department called me asking me when I was paying the bill. I told them I had just received the bill the day before and would be paying it at the end of the week and hung up. After a few minutes, I called back and asked for the supervisor and proceeded to tell him what type of harrassing phone call I received. I also told him that the rep never asked me h... read more
I was very satisfied with the end result, however, the process of getting the project scheduled was a nightmare. It was almost two months from the date we went to contract, with a significant deposit, to the beginning of the actual work. The most troublesome issue was that I was not contacted by anyone from Digorgio to keep me informed about scheduling. Granted, it was a rainy time and much of their work had to be postponed. That is totally understandable and acceptable. However, weeks went by without any attempt to inform ... read more
I made an appointment to have a salesperson meet with me at 9 AM on a Monday morning. They did not show up. They did not call. I even received a card confirming my appointment the week before. If you can't even keep your sales appointment there's no way I'll do business with you.

* Update: I'll give them another chance.
So overall I was not impressed Let me start with the roof. The roof was priced higher than other bids I got so I didn't use them for the roof and the windows I just never did. I haven't done the windows yet. I might use them for the windows. The windows were reasonably priced I just haven't gotten around to them.DiGiorgicame, they took measurements, they were going to send me stuff but they never even sent me a conceptual plan.I didn't use them because they were more expensive on some stuff and they never got back to me at a... read more
The work was done by two men who were subcontractors. Even one of DiGiorgi's employees referred to the workers as "fly-by-night". They showed up in a beat up old van and did major damage to our bushes (which DiGiorgi paid for). Our roof never leaked until DiGiorgio reroofed it, and they have not been able to fix the problem. They say it is because we had a wood roof before...but there must be some way to roof our house (a Dutch Colonial) so that it doesn't leak. To their credit, they are still talking with us and just tried ... read more
