AA did a great job on our lanai. We liked the professionalism from beginning to end. Our job consisted of adding a concrete slab to extend our lanai and enclose it. We initially hired AA to enclose the lanai and tried to save a couple of thousands by having a smaller contractor handle the concrete slab. The little guy went missing before he even started working on the job (glad we didn't give him a downpayment). Came out did the work and then the final inspection. Then they sent men out later to replace all of the structural corner and angled panels because they installed ones that were not powder coated the first time. Now they are tearing out all the screws and putting more holes on the panels which degrades the integrity of the cage. All the screws are now replaced in crooked and it looks terrible. Unbelievable! After ******** got Absolute to come and quote me on a new pool cage in November of 22. I had used them before and was happy, so did not read recent reviews, Mistake! They said it would be at least a year to get to it and I needed to get in line as they were very busy and would be working their way down to ************** from ********. They required a 10%, $2900 deposit and said Id be lucky to get anybody sooner. Called for a quote after the hurricane, Sales person quoted us price 25% over competitors and 15 month lead time and said that was the standard. We felt pressured into signing. After finding out other companies would do it in 6 months 7K+ less we tried for 4 months to cancel contract with no luck. The Sales Manager refused to return out deposit or transfer to another project. He told me he would rather pay his sale staff commissions than return our money for no service. Awful company after waiting a year with no updates.We are now selling the house but have to forfeit our deposit.They said they have done alot of work.They have done nothing except rip people off stay clear.My neighbor got a price on a lanai two weeks ago and already has install date.Good to know for next house
