Apparently their 8-hour work day includes travel time. 5 hours of travel time. It was supposed to be a 2-day job that took one week. They were never at my house before 10:45 and gone by 3:00. The first two days they did not arrive until after lunch. Nobody called the inspector so the concrete was delayed. And then we discovered that they had installed the wrong sump pump, so our salesman had to come back with the right one.
Basement Repair Specialists came out quoted the project and gave me a lot of ideas and options about my basement remodel. The knowledge and professionalism were great from beginning to end with a few exceptions. Timely and accurate communication doesn't exist with them. I ended up taking three days off of work due to the construction team getting sick twice. I wasn't notified until I called checking on their status halfway through the day. this project was to replace 6 of 9 glass block basement windows due to damage. I was told that they had the same pattern. they were the same pattern but about 1/3 smaller each so they don't match. they also created a dangerous mess while breaking out the old ones and didn't do a very good job cleaning up all the broken glass inside and out.
