Was not happy with how the whole experience with estimator went. I told him when he first got here we were not going to make a decision today. After two and a quarter hours he still hadn’t given me any number, I told him I was getting very frustrated but it didn’t matter. I asked him for a business card which he refused to give me and he also took the quote he wrote up. They may have great product but the sales tactics turned me off.
I contracted with River Valley to install 19 windows. I was promised first class service. The project management and customer service were lacking. Installation was subcontracted to a third party. During installation, a piece of siding was damaged and one of my windows has a faulty window lock. Neither issue has been addressed. I have spoken to the office several times and have been pandered to and patronized. This company presents itself as a "hit and run" type of company. Customer service is non-existing.
To expensive for what you get. The employee's are all nice and friendly.
We had River Valley Remodelers come for out for a free estimate for windows. 4 hours later we were buying 10 windows for $32,000, having to put $7,000 down and wait 4 months for installation. We cancelled the purchase. Another salesmen came out and wanted to prove how good their service and products were so we agreed to a $6000 patio door. While putting door in there was a 1-2 inch gap around the top, it was mansplained to me that the gap was exactly the way it should be and it would be filled in with insulation rather than ... read more
My wife and I have ordered new windows in our house, but forgot about 2 additional windows and had to place 2nd orders for those. The crew that was here to do the first 5 windows were very good at their jobs and all of their work appeared perfect, including the color choice. When it came time to install the two windows that we had forgotten, a different crew was assigned and their workmenship was not up to the standards of the first crew. Stay as far away from them as you can and even if you win a contest like I did. It is not worth it. They took advantage and made me believe high quality work would be done. City got involved part way through and RVR had to come back and redo everything because it was done wrong, not to industry standards, and now we are left with way more problems that will happen this winter. Never again! Overpriced and under delivered. Lies told by salesman, ordered incorrectly! What a joke!
DO NOT use River Valley Remodelers!!! We agreed to have them do a project on our home. By law, we have 72 hours to cancel our agreement. We did cancel less than 24 hours later. They deposited our check the day I wrote it. I am told that it will be almost 3 weeks for my refund. I used to work as a sales representative for a very reputable company. I moved into a home that desperately needed a new roof and sliding door. I arranged meetings with River Valley the day after I moved in.The ********* was at my house for almost 2 hours making promises about their excellent customer service and how I would end up getting tired of hearing from them.
