I had a new exterior door installed on December 30, 2025. The initial date was supposed to be on 12/21/25. The office denied that date & pushed it out a week. All the work at the shop was done on time but apparently the office didn’t get the notice. When the crew came out to replaced the door they were supposed to reuse the door locks & broke one of the locks- our locks are top quality Schlage locks. Poorly managed and lack of attention to detail. We had the local representative in Mid-Michigan out for a quote for a new front door. When paying in full, we spotted an error on their document for the shape of the transom window. CL Ward provided documentation stating $0 addition to us for fixing the design. After check was cashed and technician came out to complete door measurements, he stated quote was written for a different door configuration than we had installed. I don't recommend this company to anyone. They did my gutters a few years ago and it took them over 5 months to come out and actually do them. They just kept pushing back my appointment more and more. When they finally did do the gutters, soffit, and fascia they didn't give me anything that I asked for and I had to have them come back out to fix things and leaks. They put a gutter seam right above my door that trips every time it rains or snows. Extremely disappointed with this company.

This company will lie, string you along, mess up your project, and then cut all communication. Avoid working. With them at all costs! Contractor delayed project 8 weeks after cutting up the yard and demolishing old deck. They lost the plans then blamed us when they didn't build it to specs agreed upon. Refused to acknowledge or fix their errors and have ignored us since we pointed out their errors. Extremely untrustworthy company.

C&L Ward just replaced almost all of our windows and installed a storm door for us and they did an excellent job! Way to go Chad, Jason and Josh! They’re were extremely kind, helpful and knowledgeable. Window replacement is a lot of work! They cleaned up so well after finishing that you’d never have known they were there. They even blew the leaves off of our deck and patio. I highly recommend them!!
